The aim of the conference is to bring together the scientists working in the field of life sciences and to develop new knowledge in the life sciences by combining the most cutting edge areas of research in academic disciplines such as medicine and biology with new, advanced methods of analysis from disciplines such as mathematics, chemistry, pharmacology, physics and computer science.
Sustainability can be defined as the responsible use of resources over an indefinite period of time or as “Meeting our own needs without limiting the ability of future generations to meet their needs” (World Commission on Environment and Development, 1987). The conscious use of natural resources has become increasingly important as the human population continues to grow and consume natural resources in unprecedented proportions.
What makes life sciences more special than other sciences is that it can shed light on such problems. Life sciences help us to find out what kind of problems the natural life has in the face of the unprecedented negative effects of humanity on the environment. Life sciences represent an interdisciplinary science that contributes to the expertise of researchers from various disciplines. Researchers in life sciences examine the structure, and function of living organisms. Life sciences also provide an understanding of the environment and other species of life we share the world with. It literally helps us protect our planet, which we share with other creatures.
We would like to see you in the ICONST-LST conference organized with the theme of “Science for Sustainable Technology” with your qualified work in the life sciences field to seek answers to the problems mentioned above and to contribute to the solution even though it is a bit.
